We are extremely busy in our emergency department so please use our services wisely.  In emergency and life-threatening cases continue to come forward as normal or call 999.

However, if you are unsure about where to go, please call NHS 111 before coming to our emergency department who can best advise you on your next step.

Self-certification certificates

Under the NHS provider licence, we’re required to confirm we’re compliant with a number of statements and conditions. This includes: corporate governance; training of our governors to ensure they’re equipped with the skills and knowledge they need to complete their duties; and overall compliance with the licence to include any requirements imposed on us under the NHS Acts (this is called a general condition six certificate).

Please find the 2021-2022 certification here.
