Volunteering

Thank you for visiting our page about volunteering at the West Suffolk NHS Foundation Trust.

We have been overwhelmed by the generosity of the public who have wanted to help and support our staff and patients during the COVID-19 crisis. However, we are currently unable to recruit any new volunteers and will open up our applications again as soon as we are able to, so thank you for your generosity. We have also had to put our student volunteering programme on hold too.

But you can still help!

If you’re still keen on volunteering, there are other ways local people can help our community at this time. Suffolk County Council’s ‘Home But Not Alone’ initiative has been launched to connect people who want to volunteer in their communities with those in need. To read more about this, please click here for more information.

If you would like us to contact you when we start recruiting to our usual volunteer roles again please email us at voluntary.services@wsh.nhs.uk  and we will be in touch
