This blood test service is for patients who are looked after by West Suffolk Hospital or by local GPs. If your test was requested by a doctor from outside this area, we might not be able to send the results to them. It would be up to that clinician to obtain the results.
Booking your blood test
Your doctor must request your blood test before you can book it.
To have your blood test at Mildenhall Health Centre, Newmarket Community Hospital, or Sudbury Health Centre, you must bring a paper blood test form. Your GP surgery or clinician will give this to you.
If you are going to West Suffolk Hospital, please bring your paper form if you have one. If not, we can usually print it from our computer system.
You need to book your blood test using Swiftqueue. You can use this service for all four locations.
If you can’t book online, you can telephone 01638 590788. This phone line is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week. You can use this number to book, check or cancel your appointment.
Book your blood test onlineIf you don’t need your blood test, please cancel your appointment as soon as possible. This allows another patient to book that time. Cancel online at Swiftqueue or call 01638 590788.
During your appointment
Please wear clothing that allows you to easily roll up your sleeve above your elbow.
