Cardiology
The Cardiac Centre is located on the ground floor of the hospital. It comprises of an inpatient area, ward area and cardiac lab area with six recovery beds. The cardiology diagnostics department is also located within the Cardiac Centre.
Services provided
The diagnostic cardiology department perform all non-invasive cardiology tests including:
- 12-lead electrocardiograms (ECG)
- exercise treadmill tests (ETT)
- ambulatory ECG fitting and analysis
- ambulatory blood pressure analysis
- echocardiography (Echo)
- transoesophageal Echocardiography (TOE)
- pacemaker follow up/checking
- Inpatient area - caring for patients with a variety of cardiac conditions
