VOICE application form

Why become a VOICE member?

  • An opportunity to make a real difference to the experience of patients and their loved ones

Time commitment

  • Members are required to sign up for a term of 1 year, at the end of which time there is the opportunity to apply for a second term
  • VOICE meetings will be held quarterly, supplemented by regular role-specific meetings. Members are expected to commit at least 4 hours per month to VOICE-related tasks. Specific roles such as the New Healthcare Facility require additional time commitment.

  • To be open to working with all levels of management at the Trust
  • The ability to work effectively in a group environment
  • To be able to demonstrate an understanding of the diverse needs of the local community
  • An awareness of and commitment to equality and diversity
  • A willingness to provide a commitment to the Group and act as a representative of the Trust
  • To support the Trust’s values, objectives and vision
  • The ability to approach issues as a ‘critical friend’
  • The ability to understand and evaluate a range of information and evidence
  • An understanding of the need for confidentiality
  • To be able to demonstrate good time management skills
  • Effective networking skills
  • The ability to remain impartial when collecting feedback or market research

The information will be retained for a period of 10 years and then destroyed.
