Breast surgery
Our breast surgery team cares for people with a wide range of breast conditions. This includes treating breast cancer, other non-cancerous breast problems, and offering reconstruction after breast removal.

Colorectal surgery
The department of colorectal surgery specialises in the diagnosis and treatment of colorectal and anal pathology including bowel cancer (colorectal cancer), diverticular disease and inflammatory bowel disease (ulcerative colitis and Crohn’s disease).

Gynaecology oncology
Gynaecological cancers include ovarian, uterine, cervical, vulval and vaginal cancer.
Haematology
Haematological cancers, often called blood cancers, include leukaemia, lymphoma and myeloma.
Head and neck
Head and neck cancer is an umbrella term for several cancers that can develop in this area of the body. These include cancers of the mouth, tongue, gums and lips (oral cancer), as well as cancers of the voice box, throat and nose.
Lower gastrointestinal
Lower gastrointestinal (GI) cancers include cancers of the colon, rectum, and anus, with colorectal cancer
Lung
Lung cancer begins in the windpipe (trachea), the main airway (bronchus) or the lung tissue itself. When cancer starts in the lungs, it is known as primary lung cancer. The most common type is non-small cell lung cancer.
Medical Treatment Unit
The Medical Treatment Unit (MTU) caters for adult patients referred from any speciality, attending for treatment, procedures or investigations that do not require an overnight stay.

Upper gastrointestinal (GI) cancers encompass a group of cancers affecting the upper part of the digestive system, including the oesophagus, stomach, pancreas, liver, and small intestine.
