Recruitment day at Newmarket Hospital

We are hosting a recruitment day at Newmarket Hospital on Tuesday, 24 January. The event is open to all interested job seekers, and will provide an opportunity to explore the different roles available throughout the Trust as well as a chance to learn more about the unique benefits of working for the NHS.

The recruitment day will provide attendees with the chance to gain an insight into the various roles available within the Trust, including nursing assistants, maternity support workers, administration and housekeeping. Roles are not just hospital-based either, with members of the public having the opportunity to meet with representatives from the incredible neighbourhood community teams, who provide care across Suffolk.

Attendees will have the opportunity to meet with members of the recruitment team, who will be on hand to provide assistance and answer any questions anyone may have. Furthermore, attendees can also take advantage of a range of information resources, available on the day, to help them make an informed decision about a potential career within the NHS.

Louise Bland, head of resourcing at the Trust, said: “The Trust is committed to providing a supportive and inclusive environment for all of its employees, and the recruitment day is a great opportunity to learn more about the working culture and the career prospects available.

“With a huge range of roles available, from working in our estates team through to catering and everything in between, there is sure to be something for everyone. Attendees can also speak to staff on the day to learn more about their roles and what they do, day to day.”

The recruitment day takes place at Newmarket Hospital, 56 Exning Road, Newmarket, CB8 7JG on Tuesday, 24 January between the hours of 10am and 2pm. No booking ahead is required and the team are looking forward to meeting you.
