First Trust #HelloMyNameIs day

Staff at our Trust participated in our first #HelloMyNameIs day to mark a visit from Chris Pointon, co-founder of the #HelloMyNameIs campaign and husband of the late Dr Kate Granger MBE. The campaign highlights to staff the importance of introductions in healthcare, and that basic steps in communication with patients shouldn’t be overlooked.

Chris Pointon said: “The #HelloMyNameIs day that was held in Bury St Edmunds was a fantastic day full of inspiring staff engagement, and it is clearly evident that everyone embraces the ethos behind the campaign my late wife and I started in 2013.

“The welcome I received, the amazing staff I met, and the energy across all the teams were magnificent and I felt proud to be invited to spend time with our amazing NHS staff. Thank you all!”
