We are extremely busy in our emergency department so please use our services wisely.  In emergency and life-threatening cases continue to come forward as normal or call 999.

However, if you are unsure about where to go, please call NHS 111 before coming to our emergency department who can best advise you on your next step.

Maternity

We aim to provide high quality care, responding to the needs of mothers and their babies, in a friendly and professional environment. We aim to provide continuity of care throughout pregnancy, delivery and in the first days following your baby's birth, at each stage discussing options involving you fully and giving you choice in decisions regarding your care.

Share feedback with Healthwatch about mental health support during and after pregnancy

Healthwatch Suffolk are supporting a national survey on maternal mental health this winter.

Share your views and experiences to help them to better understand what is going well and what needs improving for new parents.

Healthwatch England will use your feedback to influence national NHS plans for maternity care, and share your feedback anonymously with local leaders of maternity services to influence local support.

If you need any support to complete the survey, please call Healthwatch Suffolk on freephone 0800 448 8234 (you will not be charged for the call) or email the healthwatch team.
