Many types of surgery are provided on a daily basis, using either general or local anaesthesia.

We also offer facilities within the department to the community dental service, cardiac care service, termination advisory service and lithotripsy service.

Opening hours: Monday to Friday, 7.30am to 8pm. The Day Surgery Unit is closed at weekends and on bank holidays.

Where to find us
The Day Surgery Unit is located at the rear of the West Suffolk Hospital, in the same building as the Eye Treatment Centre.
