What the portal can offer you

The Patient Portal can offer you a range of information. The below provides information can be seen in the portal.

Can you view laboratory results?

Yes, numerical results are visible (tumour markers excluded). Lab results with reports (e.g. negative etc.) are not visible in the portal.

 

Can you view radiology reports? 

Yes, they are visible with a three-week delay.

 

Can you view pathology reports? 

Yes, they are visible with a three-week delay.

 

Can I view allergy information? 

Yes.

 

Can I view information about procedures?

Yes, it is visible but the date is not always present.

 

Can I view documents?

Yes, the portal is currently limited to showing clinic letters and inpatient discharge summaries visible from 12 Feb 2018 (excludes emergency department discharge summaries) onwards.

You can also view obstetric ultrasound reports.

 

Can I view my notes?

Yes, however the portal is currently limited to showing: Maternity Booking Note, Maternity Ongoing Assessment Note, Maternity Antenatal Discharge Info (Clinical Note), and the Maternity Postnatal Discharge Info (Clinical Note)

 

Can you view important messaging from the Trust? 

Yes.

 

Can I view information about upcoming appointments?

Yes, you can view upcoming appointment details, including date / time / location, and the option to cancel the appointment.

 

Can I view clipboards (Health Questionnaires)?

Yes, there is an “Oncology Holistic Needs Assessment” clipboard live as of Jan 2021, also linked to HNA appointment type.

There is also an option to rate your care.

 

Can minors sign up to the Portal? 

No, registration is currently open for those aged 16 and over.

 

Can people have proxy access?

No

 

Can I view microbiology results?

No, these are currently not available.

 

Can you view prescribed medications?

This is not currently available.
