Our Annual Members' Meeting

Our Annual Members’ Meeting will be held in person for the first time since 2019 on Tuesday, 27 September 2022 from 5.30 to 7.30pm.

The event at the Apex in Bury St Edmunds gives Trust members and the public a chance to hear about the year the Trust has had, and a look ahead to the future. There will also be the opportunity to ask questions at different points throughout the evening.

Interim chief executive, Craig Black, will set out the highlights from the past year and cover formal business, discuss the Trust’s recently launched five-year strategy, and the progress of plans for the new healthcare facility planned for West Suffolk.

The meeting will include a special interest talk on the theme of dementia from the Trust’s dementia practitioner, Maggie Woodhouse. The foyer and first floor of the Apex will host a marketplace of stands from partner organisations in the health, care and voluntary sector. The aim of the marketplace is to give attendees the opportunity to find out more about the support available to them in our community, and the ways in which they can look after their own health and wellbeing.

The WSFT vaccination team will be present to provide first, second and booster covid vaccinations to anyone who is eligible.

The doors open at 5.30pm, with the Annual Members’ Meeting in the auditorium between 6.00 and 7.00pm. Light refreshments will be provided.

To book your place at the meeting and special interest talk, please RSVP by Tuesday, 13 September through one of the following ways:

We look forward to seeing you there.
