Increased presence of norovirus

We are currently seeing an increase in norovirus (winter vomiting bug) at West Suffolk Hospital. To keep everyone safe, please delay your visit if you have flu-like symptoms, Covid-19 or influenza, or if you have had diarrhoea or vomiting in the last 48 hours.

Newmarket CDC expansion public engagement event – 6 November

The West Suffolk NHS Foundation Trust is preparing its application for a proposed expansion of the Community Diagnostic Centre (CDC) at the Newmarket Community Hospital.

This engagement event gives patients, local residents and stakeholders, and colleagues the opportunity to find out more about the scheme and provide feedback on the design of the building.

Join us to discuss these proposals between 4pm and 8pm on Thursday, 6 November 2025 in the main foyer of the Newmarket Community Hospital.

If you are unable to attend, the online engagement survey will be open from Thursday, 6 November to Thursday, 20 November 2025.
