The event is free and you do not need to book. Everyone is welcome.

What you can do at the event
You can:
- have free health checks, including blood pressure and cardiovascular risk checks
- get information about diabetes and bowel screening
- get advice about stopping smoking
- speak to local health and care professionals
- find support for carers, families and children
- get help with digital services/patient portal
- meet community and voluntary organisations
- see what the new hospital could look like and learn about developments in digital technology
- speak to the Patient Advice and Liaison Service (PALS) and share your experience of local services
- learn about the activities of our My WiSH Charity (opens in new tab)
- find out more about basic life support training
- meet the patient safety team and ask questions
Who can attend
Everyone is welcome, whether you are looking for advice for yourself, a family member or someone you care for.
The event may be particularly useful for people living with a long-term health condition, carers, families with children and older people.
