Vascular surgery
Vascular surgery is the diagnosis and treatment of diseases of the arteries, veins and lymphatics anywhere in the body, excluding the cardiac (see cardiology) and intracranial (see neurology) circulation. Arterial conditions include diseases that cause the narrowing or blockage of the arteries, resulting in the reduced blood supply to part of the body.
