Visiting hours at West Suffolk Hospital and Newmarket Community Hospital have changed. From 1 April, visiting is 10am–8pm (previously 2pm–8pm). A maximum of two visitors per patient remains in place. Please do not visit if you feel unwell.

Upper gastro intestinal surgery

We specialise in the treatment of patients with disorders of the oesophagus, stomach, pancreas, liver, spleen, bile duct and gall bladder.

We are part of the department of general surgery treating patients with hernias, lumps and bumps, and those who are admitted as an emergency.
