Who you will meet in theatres
When you come to the operating theatres, you’ll meet a team of staff who all play an important part in your care. Each theatre has a dedicated team with specialist skills to support your procedure and make your experience as comfortable as possible.
Alongside your surgeon and anaesthetist, the team may include:

- Operating department practitioners
- Assistant theatre practitioners
- Health care support staff
