Services provided
We treat a variety of other conditions such as anal fissure, anal fistulae, haemorrhoids (piles), anal skin tags, fibroepithelial polyps, warts, pruritis ani (anal itching), pilonidal sinus and pelvic floor disorders including rectal prolapse. Our aim is to treat patients with skill, confidentiality and understanding. Many patients can be diagnosed and treated in the outpatient clinic but others will require further investigations and we have access to a full range of specialist investigations and treatments for colorectal disease.
We also have a rapid access team (STT nurses) who provide a telephone assessment for patients that have been referred by their GPs with suspected colorectal cancer. They will request investigations and clinical reviews, as needed following the assessment.
