Your relative, partner or friend has undergone breast surgery or treatment.
It is not uncommon for patients to have had a variety of treatments, and therefore some of the day to day tasks at home may fall to you.
It can be difficult telling friends and family about the diagnosis. You need to discuss how to do this in a way you are both comfortable with.
It may help to accept support, both emotional and practical, from family and friends during treatment.
The Breast Care Nursing Team is happy to speak to friends or family, with the patient’s permission, and to assist and support you.
If you have any concerns please contact: Breast Care Nursing Team Telephone: 01284 713281, Monday to Friday 8.30am to 4.30pm.
