We are extremely busy in our emergency department so please use our services wisely.  In emergency and life-threatening cases continue to come forward as normal or call 999. 

However, if you are unsure about where to go, please call NHS 111 before coming to our emergency department who can best advise you on your next step.

Termination of pregnancy

If you wish to make an appointment to discuss termination of pregnancy please call 01284 713235 (Mon-Fri 8am-5pm) with details of your last menstrual period and when you first had a positive pregnancy test.  We should then be able to make you an appointment to discuss things further.

If we think that your pregnancy may be too advanced for us to offer you help in our department we may direct you to another service. 

If we offer you an appointment in our clinic, you will be offered a scan to confirm pregnancy dates and discuss with a doctor and nurse the options available to you.  Making an appointment does not mean that you have to go ahead with a termination.  If you feel you need more assistance immediately please contact BPAS on 0345 730 4030.
