Patient portals
Should your test results be released to you via the patient portal as soon as they become available? At the moment, some of your test results are shared with you after three weeks. Researchers from the University of East Anglia want to know if you think this should change.

In November, we are upgrading our Patient Portal. While we prepare for this launch, registration for the current portal has been closed.
The existing portal (HealtheLife) will be replaced by a new Patient Portal designed to make managing your health information easier and more convenient. The new portal will provide an enhanced experience, allowing you to access your health information whenever and wherever you need it.
Current portal users
The current version of the Patient Portal will be closed from Monday, 11 November until Tuesday, 19 November as we implement these updates. You’ll receive a reminder via email as the upgrade approaches.
Starting Tuesday, 19 November, you’ll be able to re-register for the new Patient Portal.
Registering for the new portal
If you already use the NHS App, you’ll be able to access the new portal with your existing NHS App login details. If you aren’t yet using the NHS App, we recommend registering before signing up for the new Patient Portal, as you will use these credentials to log in.
Please note only patients currently registered for the existing portal and patients with an upcoming outpatient appointment will be sent a registration text message to register for the new portal.
If you have any other questions please email Patientportal@wsh.nhs.uk
