We can offer short or long term positions in the Emergency Department of the West Suffolk Hospital located in a lovely Cathedral town, situated in beautiful countryside with good local schools, easy links to London, Stansted airport and east coast resorts.

The Emergency Department sees over 55,600 patients with an admission rate of 27% and has dedicated nursing, ENP, reception and medical teams. There is a multidisciplinary Trauma Team and regular hospital trauma educational presentations. Digital radiology and spiral CT-scanning and ultrasound on site 24-hours. The hospital forms part of the Cambridge Graduate Medical Course. The Education Centre has state of the art presentation, library and IT facilities. Our medical team consists of six on the senior roster; five Consultants and one Associate Specialist who provide a friendly and supportive environment, one Specialist Registrar, and between 4 and 8 clinical fellows at middle grade, seven ENPs, one F1, three F2s, one ACCS, six ST1GPs.
