Information for carers

Do you assist or care for a friend, neighbour or relative who could not manage without your help?

For example, do you help with their daily living needs such as providing personal care, giving medication, preparing meals, shopping, accessing social contact and providing emotional support?

We value the information and expertise that you can share with hospital staff.

We aim to support you while the person you care for is in hospital, to enable you to access practical advice, guidance and services.

Please let the ward staff know if you are the patient’s main carer and they will provide you with a carers pack and you can download it below.
