Shining Lights pick up their prizes

West Suffolk Hospital staff who go the extra mile to deliver excellent services, treat everyone with dignity and respect and drive through improvements to patient care will be celebrated on Thursday (15 March) at a special ceremony.

The annual Shining Lights awards will be held at 4.30pm the hospital’s staff restaurant, Time Out. During the event, individuals, volunteers and teams who have gone above and beyond the call of duty will be congratulated, as well as those who have thought up new innovations to improve patient care.

All of those who receive recognition at the ceremony have been nominated for the award by their colleagues.

Roger Quince, chairman of West Suffolk NHS Foundation Trust, said: “The winners of these awards have shown dedication towards further improving services while also looking for new innovations to help us work more efficiently.

“By always putting patients first, they have proved themselves to be excellent role models and our congratulations go to them all.
